“Vacation Wars” by Meghan Quinn was a different kind of read from the normal books I’ve read by her.
Quinn is already becoming one of my favorite romcom authors and this standalone book reminds me yet again why.
Set in beautiful Santorini Greece (somewhere I would LOVE to go visit), we follow the love story of Tessa and Myles.
Long-time crushes of each other (even though they had no clue), their love story begins when Tessa’s sister drags her and their friend group to Greece before Roxane’s wedding.
Hellbent on finding a guy for Tessa, the group is on a mission to set her up with anyone that moves and breathes.
Anyone EXCEPT the one guy she’s been in love with since she was six.
However, Myles and Tessa form an alliance to derail any of the crazy antics that Tessa’s sister and friends might come up with. (Thus the “vacation wars” part of the book.)
As their alliance carries on, the two of them get even closer and it’s painfully obvious they belong together.
But how can they when Tessa and her friends have a pact to never live farther than 10 miles from each other? Myles lives in Greece… They all live in New York.
Well, let the games begin!
This is a funny, often hysterical read and one I know any fan of Meghan’s will enjoy.
