Okay, so I have to start this review off with… This is the book that made the term meet-cute make sense in my brain. LOL!
Plus, Meghan Quinn has a way of making you laugh like you cannot believe. I love her.
That said, “A Not So Meet Cute” is pretty darn hilarious.
I started reading it with very little expectation, but my friend highly recommended it, so I dove in. I’m so glad I did!
The love story of Lottie and Huxley is both adorable and fun and even a bit sexy at times. (Shocker, right?)
I liked the story arc that the whole reason Lottie found Huxley was that she was trolling the high-class neighborhood in search of a fake fiance. Hilarious!
Of course, thanks to the forced proximity, Huxley and Lottie realize they have a lot more chemistry than either of them realized.
Huxley is kind of the overbearing, gotta get it done, older brother of three boys (as you’ll find out on this series) and watching him break into a puddle of a mess for Lottie was so cute! (Meet-cute? Eh, you know what I mean!)
While not my favorite of the three brothers (you’ll find out which soon enough), this book was so well done that I had to go on and read about the other two brothers.
In conclusion, if you’re looking for a billionaire romance romcom to keep you entertained and have your heart singing, this book was fantastic. Meghan Quinn is definitely one of my new favorite authors and it all started right here.
