“Untying the Knot” by romcom master, Meghan Quinn, was all I thought it would be and more.
I read this book on a whim because my husband was lying down with a migraine at an author conference and I needed something to do in the dark. (Get your mind out of the gutter!)
So, I started reading this gem.
First of all, I loved the ingenuity of this storyline.
It’s all about retired baseball star Ryot and his wife Myla.
Things aren’t going well in paradise and it looks as though this relationship is about to fall apart completely when Myla asks for a divorce.
Ryot is shocked by the turn of events because he didn’t see it coming (part of the problem in their relationship).
However, hilarity ensues when they get on each other’s nerves as they try to separate their lives and still live in the same house.
Myla has agreed to hold off telling anyone about the divorce until after they make it through JP’s wedding (from “So Not Meant to Be.”)
However, the two of them continue to realize the love they share and separating appears to be more difficult than they originally thought.
If you’re looking for a fun variation on “forced proximity” you’re gonna love this book.
It was soooo funny and I could really see all of the crazy shit happening IRL.
Don’t miss out! Read this one ASAP!
